Hush is made by 23 works. We built it to be private by design. This explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.
Hush requires no account, collects no personal data, contains no advertising, and uses no third-party analytics or tracking. What happens on your phone stays on your phone.
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. The app has no login, no profile, and no servers that receive your data.
Hush saves a small amount of information locally — such as whether you've completed the intro, your most recently played sounds, your saved mixes and a gentle weekly listening total. This never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.
The optional Sync feature lets two nearby devices play the same sounds at once, over Apple's encrypted local peer-to-peer networking. The only information exchanged is which sounds are playing and the selected timer, sent directly between the devices for that session. Nothing is sent to us or any third party, and nothing is stored.
Hush can keep playing while your screen is locked. This uses standard iOS audio playback and involves no data collection.
Hush asks for local network access only to enable the optional Sync feature. It does not request your microphone, camera, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal data.
Hush is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
